I am so grateful for the incredible support my daughter has received from Karen over the past 3 years. After having a difficult experience with her school math teacher, she had fallen behind and lost confidence in her abilities. From the very beginning, Karen was patient, encouraging, and took the time to identify the gaps in her understanding so she could help her get caught up.
The personalized instruction has made an incredible difference. Not only has my daughter caught up to where she needs to be, but she now approaches math with much more confidence. I have seen a noticeable improvement in her test scores, and she no longer feels overwhelmed or has anxiety about new concepts. Something else to mention is how much Karen genuinely cares about my daughter’s success. She explains concepts in a way that is organized and makes them easy to understand and creates a positive learning environment where my daughter feels comfortable asking questions. My daughter is very shy so to hear that she is engaging and asking questions makes me know that she feels comfortable with Karen and that is a HUGE win!

Math is her strength, and it is my weak point! It has been a blessing to have her step in and explain concepts, find alternative explanations or useful videos that help my kids understand concepts so much better- from my 3rd grader to my Algebra student!
Karen has also been a huge help with writing activities—checking assignments and guiding the kids through the editing and polishing process.

Ms. Karen is so kind and patient with me. She teaches me in a way that I understand concepts much better than I would without her. She helps me to communicate my thoughts and ideas that I can't share with some other teachers. She comes on time and manages our time together well. Ms. Karen is very good at making sure that I know the information really well and if I don't get something she reteaches until I do.
Karen has been an amazing tutor for our daughter throughout her 7th grade year! She assisted with math, reading, writing and much more. Karen is very caring, positive and in tune to individual learning styles. She breaks down and explains concepts in a way that helps our daughter understand and persist with her assignments. Additionally, Karen teaches organizational skills and study habits which have really helped to her increase her confidence going into her 8th grade year.
We have been using Karen for almost a full school year, and we have been nothing short of impressed with the tutoring services she has provided for our now 6th grader. Our child went from math being his weaker subject, to it becoming his strongest. Karen has also contributed to his writing and organizational skills with projects in ELA, Social Studies as well as Science, and even PE! Not only has she helped our child improve the overall quality of his work products, she provides him steps along the way that he uses on his own. In addition to her tutoring skills, Karen is also very professional: always providing a monthly schedule and arriving for appointments on time and ready to work. We are very grateful to have found her.
Mrs. Karen is one of the nicest and most patient people. She tutors my 9 year old son on reading and since she has been working with him his reading has improved leaps and bounds. My son enjoys tutoring and is starting to enjoy reading more and more every day. I am happy with the results I see and I would highly recommend Mrs. Karen to my family and friends.
